Default Wires suck..

So, can anyone tell me what wire (preferably under the dash) I could hook some aux. running lights into. I have a inline fuse already, and they are l.e.d. light. The only question is, when I turn on my running lights what wire will give them constant power? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

if is only led lights, you could use the same cable that bring power to the radio... for a 2005:

Radio 12v lt. green/purple + radio harness
Radio Ground black and black/lt. green - radio harness
Radio Ignition pink/black or lt. green/yellow + radio harness
Radio Illumination lt. blue/red (dimmer) + radio harness

Well that sounds like a good idea. My truck is a 2004. They are clearance lights for the top of the cab and the wire has to be run down the post inside to the dash. I'm guessing the gauge of the wire is 18? I got the light kit from Recon and theres only instructions for Super Duty's with wiring harnesses. Any other ideas?

if they are led, most like it will be 18. you dont need more than that. i think the radio wire is 16.. maybe 14. most likely 16.
