Wire Harness Plastic Clip Broke

Default Wire Harness Plastic Clip Broke


I just hit 150K miles on my 2007 Lincoln Mark LT and deiced to replace the plugs in it.

Everything went smooth until I went to plug in the coil pack connectors. I managed to snap off two of the release buttons that hold the clips to the coil pack.

Anyone here done the same thing? Can we just splice in new plastic clips?

I believe several guys here have spliced new clips in. I actually used small zip ties till I get around to it. Ebay/amazon has the connectors

Did you solder and heat shrink the new connections?
