wire harness
does anyone know where i can get wire harnesses for truck, like an aftermarket company that makes them.
guess I will have to splice wires in like when motorcycle harness caught fire, i just took wires from old dishwasher, and spliced them in one at a time.

If possible find the wiring harness identification sticker and confirm the new harness has the same ID. From my understanding, harness changes can occur and are build date sensitive.
You might try U-Pull yards in your area but stuff like wiring harnesses get destroyed in a matter of days after the truck hits the yard.

What subsystem are you working on?
Some of those harnesses come in pieces, like the alternator or injector harness
Some only split front to rear, and separate at the cowl panel / fuse box
You will NOT find a new harness from the aftermarket EVER
I agree with above post; I'd find your exact Ford part number at a Ford dealers parts department and search Ebay for the obsolete part
In the meantime, repair your harness, because you'll either never find another or have a real hard time finding one
Case in point
I'd give about 5,000 for a NEW 69 Boss 302 engine harness with the revlimiter and NEW wiring
I've been looking for a new one for about 40 years now
