I like the looks of yours better. I'm thinking of installing the front leveling blocks and some bigger wheels/tires.

Those look much brighter than the dash, do they dim down. Is there a setting for brightness?

Also, was the wire (location and color) to tap into dash dimmer mentioned in this thread?

I'm going to do this soon to my truck. In addition to the fact that I have all the parts to do the timing (Melling timing set with cast iron tensioners, Melling cam phasers, Melling VCT solenoids, and M340HV oil pump)

eBay 2 pod set
Amazon Amazon
Glowshift Oil filter adapter
Amazon Amazon
AutoMeter 4357 Transmission Temp Gauge
Amazon Amazon
Autometer 4327 Oil Pressure Gauge

Thanks for the write up, I searched GlowShift and this thread came up. I was looking for reviews on the GlowShift oil pressure gauge.

The roush pod is installed in my dash and I just ordered the sandwich plate and gauge.

FYI. I ditched the sandwich adapter. My oil pressure readings were jumpy/erratic, so I just connected a T in the factory oil pressure sender location. Smooth readings since then.

Just in case the sandwich adapter doesn't work out for you:

Hope I don’t have to do that, the sandwich is so I don’t have to remove my alternator

IMHO, the T is the way to go. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than the sandwich adapter, and it's easy to install. Again, my pressure readings through the adapter were all over the place. Something to do with pressure readings being affected by its relationship to filter position.

You’re 2wd, the front axle and differential is in the way of that sending unit. A hand barely fits. I tried to undo the alternator bolts last year and couldn’t slide it out of the way.

at least on the 5.0L, the 5.4L might be in a different spot and more accessible
