Once you assemble all of that though it doesn't give you much room to screw it onto the truck. Like others said the sandwich adapter is way to easy to not just go that route.
Can you still run the FL820 filter? How is the clearance for oil filter changes?

FL820-S fit just fine. You need a new filter when you add the adapter anyway since the old filter will be damaged upon removal.

Well, you've talked me into it. Now, do I get a single a-pillar pod for the oil gauge, or a dual and move my tranny temp gauge from the old coin holder location? Decisions....

Trans sensor is 1/8 pipe thread.

Yep running the stock filter. I don't have a picture but it does make it maybe a little harder to get the oil filter unscrewed but I don't remember it taking any longer or really much of a difference last time I changed my oil. I actually need to change it again soon.

As far as pods go I only have an oil pressure gauge and no trans temp but I have what others have, here is my set up.

That's exactly what I planned to do, same vent and everything. I get trans temp from the tuner, so I don't feel a need to run an additional gauge for it.

Well after the pic I turned off the truck and it was at 26 psi. Should get me another year. Odd thing to note, if I let it sit in idle for more than a couple minutes, it raises up to around 37- 40 psi. From what I understand, oil pressure psi should never raise at idle. I turn the truck off at hot, restart it and it goes back down to 24-27 psi, then again after about 2 minutes of idle, it goes back up to 37-40 psi. Seriously wonder if the sending unit is giving accurate readings. I sent tech support an email.

So I think I have found a solution (fingers crossed). The sending unit that came with the Intellitronix gauge has 1 wire that feeds the gauge. The sending unit is supposed to ground itself via mounting. Well, I can't ground it to a aluminum sandwich adapter!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My old sending unit had 2 wires, one for ground and one for feeding the gauge. So I stumbled upon this sure-fire method to ground the sending unit. I am trying this is the morning!!

I had dual ac vent gauges in my '93 Mustang GT. While they looked cool there, when running the ac, condensation built up on them-so badly you couldn't read them. Have you seen this problem?
