Thank you everyone, ya'll convinced me to go with in channel design. And does anyone know a store that carries them? Or is online easier? Pepboys only have the external ones.

they let you have your windows cracked when it's raining or you can leave your windows down a tad in the hot summer sun and not let the interior burn up..i used to always have them but i think they take away from the clean look, but they do serve a purpose.

How's the wind noise compared to before installation? I just ordered a set of in channel shades because they look cleaner and supposedly don't make as much noise as the stick on set, just curious.

I have the AVS stick ons, they don't look bad, but the do make a lot of noise. I can't compare to the in channel as I've never had them on this truck, couldn't find the locally.

Probably swap at some point for the in channel, but these work for now. Definitly need them during the rain.

my dad has part of a set of stick on ones on his 01 ram and the one on the drivers side blew off and the passengers side one craked in half. dont know if it was just a faulty instalation job or if they were just cheapos. the tape stuck on the truck very well and doesnt want to come back of though lol.

Mine are the stick on and I have no issue with noise. I leave the windows cracked in the summer and have driven in the rain with them down an inch or so.

Had the in the channel on my Pathfinder and the windows would not shut all the way because they were to tight, Have had the stick on ones on my Buick Century since it was new in 03.
