how to you take apart the handle to get to the switches? just pull up on it??

 

Do you mean the door handle? there is a cover that you will have to remove with a small flat tip screw driver then the cover pops off and there will be 2 bolts that hold the handle. Its been a while since I have removed a door panel on an f-150 but I remember it was a Pain in the *****
