Does anyone know why I've gone thru 8 window switches? It's always just the drivers side window that stops working, always in the down position of course.
It can't be just wear, some will die in 6 months. I have a couple friends who it has happened to as well. Thanks.

 

Interesting. I had same failure last year. Bought replacements from rock auto. Had to go through two switches before finding one that worked for more than a week. I came to the conclusion that the switches must have quality issues. Ive been using this switch for a year, still works but doesn't always do the auto down function.

 

Thanks, thinking quality issue too. Not to mention Ford electronics have always been buggy.
