Well today is the second time the drivers side window fell in my fathers truck (05 FX4), Last year I replaced the regulator assembly, now time to do it again. I know things break but the window regulator setup seems very poorly designed, cheap. The truck is great but just like any vehicle there are problems.

How many of you have had this happen ? And if you repaired it yourself what was the point of failure ? I'm very curious how common the dreaded window drop is.
