winch
Its up to you on the mount/bumper for the winch....personal opinion. But, we have a truck at work with a Warn 9.5xp and a Warn Transformer mount that will pull the truck out easily when stuck. FYI its an 08 f150 supercrew with 305/70/18 (35's)
Be aware that the line pull rating is for the inner most wraps on the drum or spool.
Most manuf's offer this info on the sites.
An 8000 lb pull sounds like a lot but you have to consider how often you have enough line out to get down to the first wraps, and are you willing to set up a pulley to get the line out on a short pull. I rarely had more than 50 feet of line out.
I suggest the buying the most powerful winch that you can afford.

Years ago when I bought my first winch I was told to look for a winch that was rated for atleast 2x the GVWR of the vehical, this being said it never hurts to get the most winch you can.
I would suggest a full replacement bumper over a brushguard as most brushguards dont hve a winch plate mounting option.
If you have never used a winch i suggest watching some videos on the proper use and care before you buy one. I went with a replacement bumper and 12k winch for my crewcab and i have a 9k on my jeep never had issues with either stalling out or stopping, but like everythign else keep it simple 2xGVRW and you should be fine.
