I was "that guy" driving back from WI Dells, I forgot that I put the left over pizza in the bed of the truck. After we got on I 94, I saw the pizza box fly out and stick to the front of the SUV behind me. He followed us for 2 hours with the box flapping on his hood. I'm sure the cheese made a nice mess in his radiator. I think it was a Toyota anyways.

This didn't happen to me, but to my (crazy) aunt. She and some friends were pulling a CJ7 behind a motor home in Montana once. There was bumper to bumper traffic in both lanes of the two lane road. At one point my aunt looked in the rear view mirror and wondered what happened to all the traffic behind. That's when someone else asked "Where's the Jeep?" They had to back a 40' motor home over a mile down the road to retrieve the Jeep. The other drivers were less than happy.

ok i got something a little more serious than the first one i posted. it didnt actually fall off in front of me, it fell off of our truck. when i was 13 i was working for a family friend selling produce at the local liquor store. we both lived right around the corner from the liquor store. we were leaving his house one day and since we didnt have to go far, we left the tailgate down. just as we were making the turn by the store, about 10 watermelons, a box of cantelopes, and a few boxes of tomatoes fell off the truck. since you cant sell broken fruit, i sat there that day and ate all 10 watermelons. i didnt eat another thing for a day or two. lol.

i was on a highway doing about 55mph and a hood off a circa 55 buick flew up about 50 yards in front of me and just missed my truck. Back then i guess they didnt have double safety hood latches as they have now. But that hood looked as big as a billboard when it was coming towards me

We saw a float or something a few weeks back while we were on the way to Fla. It looked some sort of village out of a Greek Mythology book! Of course we couldn't find the camera in time to get a picture! The poor driving failed to see all the pieces flying of behind him!

well ive had a extra large coke thrown out of the window that actually dented and scratched the hood of my truck. was goin about 75mph on the interstate. the truck wouldnt pull over so luckily i had 2 large beverages in my cup holders that i threw back at him. one made it in his driver window. didnt fix my dent but made me feel better. o and i had a parts truck in front of me once and a semi truck brake drum fell off. damage total was around 6k. went into passengers side wheel well and basically took out upper/lower ca's tire and brakes fender and wheel.

OH! AND THE MOST RECENT ONE!

i was headin to the coast with my girl when a white-winged dove takes a nose dive in front of me and tries to bail out when he meets the base of my antenna. i had just enough time to see him dive, blink, and then i look up and hes split in half on my antenna, staring straight at my chick! oh i just about died laughing, my gf was mortified but laughing also. the blood was a pain to clean off but thank god i waxed my truck before!

well a month ago i had two new rotors in my truck and forgot to put the tailgate up and didnt notice they fell out until i got home. so i backtracked and found both of them and they werent scratched or anything. but sitll the main point to this story is to make sure that you put your tailgate up when you have stuff in the bed. lol.
