Default Why 130a alternator?

Hi guys,
After search and multiple thoughts on which way to go, I am interested on the TYC from RockAuto. Now, I have a question as what is the advantage of putting a 130a alternator on our car (mine is 2006 F-150 STX) if I don't use anything too strong beside backup camera, dash cam, and charging 2 or 3 phones while driving, sometimes pulling my boat (4000lbs+)?
Thanks guys.

If the 10G trucks are a hint, that was the upgrade from the 95 amp version for the trucks with the towing package. In that case, you’d want the extra juice for charging a trailer battery.

If trailer has electric brakes, a small battery is used to power them ON incase trailer gets loose of the truck.
No need in this case to use a larger Alternator.
If a larger Trailer, then >>>maybe for larger Battery, Lights and inside power.
Good luck.

My trailer has brake, but I don't see a separate battery.
Thank you.

.
The rule 'normally' is any trailer load over 3000 # is required to have Electric Brake actuation.
If electric, a small Battery to make the Trailer Brakes come On if it gets away from the Tow. vehicle.
Battery is usually on the front of the trailer near the Hitch with a wire cable line from the Tow vehicle to a Pull On switch on the Trailer to make the Battery operate the Trailer Brakes.
Don't know what you have or why not, unless the Battery is inside the Trailer out of sight or not required for some reason.
Good luck.
