Who makes the most reliable HID kits
I want to know who makes your HID kit and if you recommened them...
Tophidkits a.k.a. HIDnation... Hit or miss, They'll send you equipment until you get enough parts to make it work but the hassle isn't worth it.

I have DDM and have had nothing but trouble. Other than the kit still somewhat functioning (one bulb needs 3-4 tries to fire) they are garbage. DDM WILL NOT stand behind their warranty under ANY circumstances. I have posted this in MANY other threads. Some on here have had very good luck with DDM, I have not. Just beware, their customer service will try to screw you every possible chance they get IF you have a problem. Just don't count on your kit being covered when/if anything goes bad.

Ford tough since '88
I have ddm tuning for my headlights and fogs. A couple of my friends also have ddm tuning. They are great! None of us have had a problem with them and I ordered the wrong bulbs the first time and they sent me the right ones all I had to do was pay the $8 shipping, they even let me choose what bulb color.

I have had my set for about a year and half now. Have had no problems with them. Only issue i had was that when i installed them because i had fog lights that played in with the high beams. When i would have my low beams on then turn fog lights on too the highs would kick on. Turned out to be a resistance issue. I wired in a underhood light to the factory high beam circuit to put anoth bit of resistance to the line and all is working great.

I have bought 10+ kits off of ebay and like I said its all the same except for the name on the ballast. Just make sure where you buy them from offer a warranty....customer service is hit for miss

Don't.
Pretty much all of the cheap HID ballasts sold on Ebay are manufactured in the same plant. They have contacts to label the outsides and send them to the specific company that ordered them.
OP - My suggestion is to skip the cheap HID kits that put an HID bulb into your reflectors that were designed for Halogen bulbs. This causes a ridiculous amount of glare and causes an unsafe condition for oncoming traffic. If you really want to go HID for increased lighting performance, do the research and put in the time and money to do it right. Get some OEM projectors, OEM ballasts, and some good bulbs(phillips are top notch) and do it the correct way.

I'm not affiliated with either, but they know their stuff when it comes to HID retrofits.
