so I'm already pretty OCD about keeping my truck clean to the point that I went after the frame and suspension with a wire wheel and black paint. I was curious if anyone has developed any rust problems on the body yet? If so then where?

 

under the sill (directly under the wiring chase, but road side)

maybe some mud flaps would help, but, oh well.

 

Been through 3 Colorado winters and no rust to speak of here. Just checked as I got down and thoroughly cleaned the truck this past weekend.

 

I have rust in my lower front bumper

 

I've got rust on my roof where the dang paint is peeling. Comes off in big flakes - got to get it painted very soon!

 

i have some little rust spot on my lower front bumper as well from rocks. i am planning on herculining my bumpers eventually.

 

hmm this seems to get a good sign! the only rust I have is also from rock chips

 

guess i should move having my front bumper re-sprayed up on the list.
