Plan on adding lights to my bumper. Where should I mount the switches for them.

A lot of folks and myself have used the area around the cigarette lighter. Just pull off the entire center panel that surrounds the stereo on down and you can push in the clips that holds the cig panel on to remove it. Drill your cutouts, insert switches, wire them, and replace.

 

I mounted 2 switches here cause where my cigaret lighter is I had put in two aftermarket seat Warner's and that's where I wired those to

 

I have the column shift so there's a blank shelf that was good for nothing so I took a spare piece of aluminum I had laying around and cut and bent it to fit in there and mounted my switch to it. Makes a great place to mount other ones too. I need to paint it black still.

Same as where '08' are, like this spot but will go with the center console for my LED bed lights only to tap into the cig lighter wire for power.
