Default Wheel spacers

2008 F150 with stock rims, quicklift on 315x 70 r17. I noticed my back tire is rubbing the parking brake cable when it is engaged. Are wheel spacers safe to run 20k to 30k highway miles a year or just break down and buy aftermarket wheels with more back spacing?

I'd be a bit nervous with spacers, I know big money for wheels, but they can transform the look of the truck.

Guess you don’t want to give up the 13.5” wide tires that are causing the problem.. had you tried to zip tie the brake cable away from the tire ?

I have 1.5" spacers. no problems
Your wheels are super wide..
You'll need to trim a good bit too
Almost too much stuffing in the turkey

2" adapters for a couple of years and zero problems..,.. Install properly, use plenty of blue loctite, and you'll be A-Ok.
