Default Wheel offset question

I know this is probably a very common thread but I searched and couldnt find what i was looking for. I am new to trucks so I dont know much. But heres my question, i have a 05 4x4 crew cab that i want to put a 2.5" leveling kit on and 18x9 wheels. The tires i want are Nitto Terra Grapplers. What im confused about is the backspacing and offset for the rim so that the tires dont stick out so far. I either want 285/65/18 305/60/18. The wheels come in -12 offset with 4.xx" BS and +18 offset with 5.xx" bs. Which ones would look the best with no rubbing? Thanks in advance for your help

I have BFG 285-65-18's mounted on 18X9 rims with a 6" offset and I am moving up to BFG 305x65x18's in the spring. I think that the 285x65's look too small!!. See my pics with the 285's mounted!!

Yea I think your right. I am going to go with the 305/60/18 Nitto terra grapplers. Im still not sure if I should get the -12 or +18 offset thought. I think the -12 is what will fit.

If you dont want the tires sticking out you will have to go with the +18 off set, if you go with -12 with a 9inch wide rim they will be set out pretty far.

+18 Seems like the better choice. What is the bolt pattern for our trucks?
