Default Wheel off

K this might sound like I'm a dork but I have a 2007 flare side that has what looks like chrome wheels or trims and what looks like a central hub cover. I need to remove the wheel but can't get to the lug nuts do I just force off the central cover as I have tried and it won't shift !!

most just have a cover over them and a little area to use a screw driver to remove it by prying it off....

Step 5 of page 160 in my 2005 F150 owners manual states:

5. Use the tip of the lug wrench to
remove any wheel trim.
