Default Wheel bearings

What are you 2wd guys doing with wheel bearings. Factory stuff went 100k before the right front failed. Motorcraft replacements went 25k, right front again failed. Trying NAPA stuff now. Anyone else having issues?
Properly torqued, new spindle nuts ect, ect.

Changed rotors out at about 80K with a brake job on my 2WD. Totalled truck at 104K with no issues. I bought Napa's low-end rotors and torqued new spindle nuts to 250 (High as my torque wrench would go and I wasn't buyin a multiplier or doing the calculations to get to the 295 listed by FoMoCo- 250 was enough IMO). I also don't remember what bearing was pressed in them. Odd that a Motocraft bearing would go out so soon, I believe they are Timken bearings. There's only 3-4 bearing companies out there... SKF, National, & Timken are your big names and all are reliable bearings. Sometimes you just get a bad one.

Some other things you could check would be for alignment issues or worn suspension parts. Any bearing won't give much longevity if you have something like worn ball joints.
