Default Wheel Backspacing Question

I posted this on the wheel thread a week ago -- but I don't think that thread is frequented much anymore. Anyone know the answer to this?

I've got an 05 SCrew 4x4 with 2 1/2 inch leveling in front. My factory tires are finally worn out, so I'm ready to buy new tires and wheels. I'm thinking of the BFG T/A KO 305/65/18 -- at 33.6" should fit no problem, with the info in the tire/wheel thread.

The wheels are my bigger problem. I want black & chrome, without a lot of little nooks to clean. I like the Enkei Performance ETS (18x8.5) but it has 6.2" of backspace. That's more than the 5-6" recommended by post #1 of the tire/wheel thread.

Plugging this into http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp (a really helpful visual tool mentioned in the thread) shows that this setup will end up 0.8" closer to the suspension compared to stock. Will this cause rubbing -- and is this the reason to stay less than 6" with backspacing? Anyone have wheels with more backspacing than recommended -- and any problems due to that? Thanks
