Question Whats going on!!!!

Have an 06 5.4 F150. Did the plug change with 110,000 miles. all was good and yes they were a pain in the *** as 4 broke on me. So about 1k after this I had a code for coil pack cylinder 1. changed it out. Before I changed it I noticed that the truck at different times would have some jerking to it. The coil packed fixed that. So now another 9k on it and had to replace pack 4 only its still has this jerking at times. I have also noticed when cruse is on going down a hill its like gas, brake, gas brake rocking to it. it has never done this before.

when you did the plugs what brand did you install ? did you replace the boots and springs ? did you use anti seize ? dielectric grease ? clean the COP contacts ? have you checked the condition of your FPDM ? cleaned the Throttle body or MAF ? when was the last time the fuel filter has been changed?

Just want to be clear, I'm not trying to bash the op for asking, just have seen the same solutions from being around here a while.
But back to the question. Like techrep mentioned, there is a certain order you need to do things in when changing plugs. One of those, which is pretty important, is changing the boots and springs.
If you are trying to chase down a bad COP, then just swap it with another cylinder, and see if the code follows.
