I was looking at doing the gas pedal mod and just looking to see what I needed. Then I noticed these wires that are cut. They plug into some part of the harness.

Im thinking remote start or factory alarm or the cut wires for rear subwoofer. Non of which my truck has anyway.

I did but it got dark. They go behind the center console. I'd rather not rip that out just to see that it's a cigarette lighter extension! HAHA

Kinda looks like the trailer brake controller harness to me, mines in my truck somewhere I'll take a look when I go back out

Yeah it's the trailer brake harness, When i bought my truck used it was still plugged in, it was hanging down one day, so i pushed it back up, the bare wires hit a piece of metal and sparks went flying, so i figured it would be a good idea to keep it unplugged if not needed...

Same happened to me. That's the biggest reason I pulled them out. I was just gonna tape them off I didn't know they were live.
