Default What are the truly best gears?

Ok I'm running 35's on 6 inches of lift currently. With stock 3.73 LS gears. I do tow a 4500lb boat often but I want my top end speed still so should I do 4.10 or 4.56 gears in it?

4.56 brings it closer to stock... if you go with 4:10s you might regret later.. and it cost a good 1k to get a good regear

4.56 without a doubt. 4.10 isnt enough of a change to warrant the expense. I've done both with 35's and liked the 4.56's way better. Also plan on $1000 PER AXLE to have it professionally done. Thats out the door, parts and labor. If it needs complete bearing and seal kits you'll be looking at a couple hundred more.

4.56's for sure. Even on 37's, my 4.6 wasn't doggy at all. Doing a 4.56 gear change on my new truck this week. 6 inch lift, 35's, ill let you know how it goes.

I'm putting 4.88s in mine because I have 37s and it constantly shifts on the highway

$1000 per axle is a rip off. 4wheelparts charges $500 per axle flat rate and the local differential shops by me want $1200 for front and rear.
