Default What size wheels?

Hey folks! I just bought a 2006 FX4 Crew Cab F150 last week and know nothing about the F150. My last ride was a 2003 FX4 Crew Cab F250. I'm wanting to know what is the smallest diameter wheel I can put on my 2006. The truck currently has 20 X 8.5 wheels with 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers and some sort of lift. I'm guessing its just a leveling kit but it definately sits higher than stock. I love the stance but I can't stand the 20" wheels. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

17" is the lowest you can go and still clear the brakes... Mine had 22" rims on it when I got it, so I understand. I found some 17" stockers on e-bay that I have on there now.

On a side note, why in the hell would you put 22" rims and rubber band tires on a FX4 4x4???? end thread jack!!

Thanks man! Brake clearance is what I was wondering about. I agree 100%. 4x4 needs more tire and less bling.
