What size glasspack
I have a 2005 f150 5.4 supercrew with a short bed. What size glasspack do I need? I don't want my exhaust to be cut short like some. I want to put a tip on my exhaust, any idea what size glasspack I need. (Inlet and Outlet diameter is what I am talking about)

I think it's 2.5"

Yeah, thats the diameter of the exhaust. I am not a pro at this, what length? Could you possibly post a link to one that would fit? As I said in the main post, I still want to be able to put an exhaust tip on the end of my exhaust to make it look cooler.
Note: Before anybody says anything, yes I am eventually getting a dual exhaust, this is just a whole lot cheaper as of right now...

Yeah, I think I'm going to get someone to put it on for me. I haven't yet decided what tip I want to do, I haven't decided chrome or black and whatever color I do, I need go stay with whenever I get rims. Also, the tip just bolts on with a bolt, you just mount it on.

Order a 18" length from Jegs. You can make up any length with pipe from the parts store. I have a pipe welded from the y-pipe, to a Cherrybomb glasspack, with some more pipe that I welded to the stock tailpipe. Much of the straight pipe is factory that I've cut and welded to fit, I butt-welded most of it. Once situated where I wanted it to be, I took some 5/8" round stock, heated it cherry-red, and beat it to 90* to serve as new hangers, put them in to the factory rubber mounts, welded them to the pipe where they met, and trimmed the excess. Easy-peasy. I'd like a spilt to duals either out behind the tires or straight out the back, but this is a 15 year old truck and I can't see dumping too much money into "wants" when it has enough "needs."
