You're welcome!

A little corrosion, but nothing compared to the northern trucks. With the salt used, they end up with huge holes in them and short out.

I have an 06 F150 4.6 I bought new. I just recently did the first spark plug change at 160,000 miles. They didn't look as bad as I expected. Gap was a little wide but the gas mileage never dropped off much since new.

The 4.6 is a pretty tough engine. My friend has an 05 with 220k. He's never changed the plugs or anything besides oil changes. All he does it beat on it and it somehow keeps going.

Check the age of the tires by finding the last 4 digits of the dot number. If theyre over 7 or 8 years old id replace them. The first 2 digits are the biild week and the last 2 are the build year. For example, last 4 digits are 3414 then it was manufactured on the 34th week of 2014.

He replaced all four 11 months ago. But thanks.

Glad to hear, was worried with ALL the horror stories I've heard. But they are for the 5.4 and 3V motors I've learned.

Yeah, you have nothing to worry about. You got a really solid engine with super low miles.

Mind if I ask what you paid? I wish I could find another one of these trucks with miles that low.

I paid 8k, but I sold my 05 blazer with 143k for $2250. So the truck only cost me 5750. Plus I have the 4,original aluminum rims I'm taking to the salvage yard. So that'll be another $40 in my pocket. LOL

Well the passenger rear door broke on me today. So I went and ordered the repair kit for both doors. Guess I'll be repairing them next week on my days off. Headed to the junkyard tomorrow to look for an upgraded radio and maybe a power seat if I can find a decent one. There are about a dozen Lariat F150's that came in the past two weeks.
