Default what should i get?

alright i know there is a thread on exhaust and what not already but its so cluttered i cant find all the information i want...so my truck has a magnaflow catback on it, single in dual out muffler and exits out by the rear bumper...its not as loud as i want...im not sure what kind of muffler it is since it came on the truck but i know its magnaflow...so i need a new muffler, i have a k&n fipk cai on there and will be getting a edge on friday...im wanting more of a rumble type noise..something to show off hey look its a v8, and now its not really doing that, its decently loud but just not what i want..i dont know lots about exhaust for gas vehicles...diesels is a different story, i know it has the stock cat on it, so what muffler do you suggest? nothing outrageously expensive...i have been watching youtube videos on the flowmaster super 44's but have never used one or heard it in person...so tell me what to get! thanks

If swap from magnaflow to flowmaster then you have no hope. LOL

Magnaflow anything > flowmaster

I couldn't wait to get the flowmaster 40 off my truck. It came on it.

It's a good bit louder than a magnaflow catback and cheaper. The muffler itself was about $65.

Here's my setup.

Amazon Amazon
Magnaflow 10416 Satin Stainless Steel 2.5" Round Muffler

You could even go true duals with two of those mufflers.

It doesn't do that after the truck is warmed up.

They can always weld a y-pipe on to the end of a Singe/single out.

You might also be able to get an SLP loudmouth resonator off ebay for cheap. Had one on my camaro and it sounded real good. The mustang guys love them too.

Be creative. You'll save money by buying your own muffler and tips off the internet and then paying an exhaust shop to custom fab your duals.

Loudmouth I resonator. It's pretty much just a shiny piece of pipe. But it helps you get loud better than just a straight pipe.

Loudmouth II has some packing in it. Not quite as loud as LMI.

When I sold my camaro I had one of these intalled in my loudmouth exhaust on my camaro. Everyone loved it.

They make you a custom length chambered muffler. Awesome quality and very affordable. I think mine was about $60-65.
