i have this rattling under braking, and only at very low speeds. i can only feel/hear it at <5 mph coming to a stop.

what are all of the possible causes in the front end that can be causing this? its driving me crazy

loose caliper or caliper mounting bolts. also check to see if any shims on the brake pads are loose or missing.

 

hmm, interesting. ill take a look tonight. i can actually still hear it if i depress the pedal too and coast for a few feet.
