Default What offset?

I'm looking at a 04 Lariat, and I want to put a rough country 2.5" leveling kit on it.
Recommended Tire Size: 35 x 12.50 plannin on gettin 18" black XD Monster wheels with Nitto Trail Grapplers

Wheel Backspacing: Factory

Vehicle Applications:
2004 – 2011 Ford F150 2wd/4wd

Kit Contents:
• Front: Leveling strut extensions.
• Rear: 1" rear blocks & u-bolts.
• Shocks: Rear Nitro 9000 shocks
.

Which of the following offsets do I need? This is what they list.

Bolt Pattern Offset Backspacing
6x135mm -12mm 4.50"
6x135mm +18mm 5.71"
6x135mm +35mm 6.25"

-12mm wont fit at all, the +35mm will be like stock and will fit but might rub the upper control arm at anything over 80% turning each way. I would say go for the +18mm ones. You will have to do some trimming on the lower valence with a razor blade but thats easy and you wont know it was modified. You might also have to trim the inner fender well but thats just plastic as well. That, you might only have to do if you notice rubbing going up a hill and turning into it (like a driveway).

1st choice : +18mm
2nd choice : + 35mm

Would I be better off going with a 34" or 33" tire?
I just don't want a bunch of open fender well. IMO that looks bad.

I have a 6" rough country lift and run a -12 offset rim. I dont understand why he says they wont fit at all. I will say that it kicks the tires out a ways so youll have rooster tails on the truck everytime you drive through a puddle, but you can run anysize tire and not rub.

With level, 35s and that offset, they would rub bad without significant trimming. Suspension lifts usually require the lower backspace wheels, which is why they work on yours.

Exactly. -12mm and 35's only for 4" or 6" lift
