My wimpy 550AMP Motorcraft battery was less than two years old when it gave up the ghost. I was also having all sorts of crazy issues with my digital compass/temp as it was always wanting to calibrate.... Removed the weak Motorcraft battery and slapped in a Die Hard Platinum with close to 1000AMP capacity and all my problems went away!

Motorcraft...my brother had his in his 2000 f-150 until 2011 when he replaced it because he was afraid it was going to go bad. He ran alot of audio equipment with it as well. When i bought my 2006 in 2010 the dealership put a new battery in it.

Duralast won me over when my dads jet boat battery (duralast gold) finaly went south after 8yrs and found the reason it went bad was cause it rubbed a whole vibrating in the batt box then to top it off it still fell in the warranty so he only paid like 25$ for a brand new one lol
