Default What gears to pick.???

I have a 2008 4x4 5.4, with a 6"lift, 35" tires, have a k&n intake, exhaust, was wondering what gears i should go with, i just got a 22' enclosed trailer that im going to be hauling my longtravel rail in. thanks

4.56 are the best gearing to go with for these trucks, the 4.10 ratios dont seem to change to much between 3.73 and 4.10...and the 4.56 seem to be the best fit and havent heard a bad thing about a propperly installed set yet

i would go with 4.88's if you plan to tow that hauler.

I had Yukon 4.56's in mine with the same setup you have, with the exception of the trailer. I had no issues with my 4.56's though.

what is the approximate weight of your loaded trailer?

You should be fine with 4.56's. 4.88's might be a little too short for you when you aren't towing on the highway. Just my $.02

if your towing alot a 4.88 would work better but the 4.56 will get you back to stock like ratios
