I found a cup holder insert that looks like it would fit my 2006 fx4 floor console. The listing says Designed For Models WITHOUT The Flow Through Center Console. I know this probably a stupid question however how do I know if this will fit? Thank you for your help.

 

I might be wrong but I'm guessing flow through is when both cup holders are connected like this...

 

Thank you. I think you are probably right. I was hoping to find an insert that covered the lip area

 

Is your center console paint bad, is that why? I took both my cup holders out and painted them satin black.

 

I've got a small chip in the paint on the lip of the cup holder.

 

I used Krylon fusion satin black. Its real easy to pull the cup-holders and paint.
