Cheap Chinese projectors. Don't waste your time or money. If you want some quality projectors, look into Morimoto or OEM branded ones.

OK then what should I do? Buy retrofit ones that are done already or do it myself?

I'd try to find someone with them first to be honest.

A coworker bought a cheap set of projection lights off eBay for his 06 GMC ,he also installed a set of HIDs in them and the cut off line is cleaner than my 2013 OEM HIDs. Very very surprised!

I wouldn't be the ginea pig, I'd just try to find someone with them before ruling them out. Of course retrofitted are great but in the case of my buddy he lucked out and got a set off eBay that worked great.

Buying a set that was retrofitted using quality parts is the best bet. I think I even saw a set in the for sale section.

The 2013-2014 OEM HIDs aren't all that great, so it's not that good of a comparison. There's a replacement projector for those too. The Chinese projectors might have a sharper cutoff, but the intensity, width, and light throw will all be inferior to a good set of projectors.

Can't put a price on safety! I have retrofits and will never go with anything else. Completely worth it. You'll hear the same thing from anyone else who has them too.
