I like the look of the fender flares and would be a good investiment. Ever seen the trucks without them, after awhile the paint on the sides getts all jacked up then rust starts appearing. Also some states require mud flaps. After replacing multipule windsheilds do to rock chips and cracks. I curse anyone without them.

I got pulled and fined by Florida police a few years ago for my tires that stuck out past the wheel wells in a Jeep I used to own. $200.00 for that fine. In Florida (I did not know at the time), it's illegal to have tires past the wheel well, as it can fling rocks and other debris to the rear and harm other drivers vehicles (what I was told by the officer).
So, I'll assume it's legal in your state. By the looks of the mud on the side of your truck, the officer was right. I'd hate to be behind you on a highway, watching my windshield get slammed by a stone your tires slung at me!
With those tires, I'd go the route of some Bushwackers.

I would just get some FX4 flares and it wouldn't look bad.

Any suggestions on ff? Want some that "look goo"- not to big since I don't gave a lift. I will have the 2" lk replaced with a 3" Monday.
How far do the fx4 flares stick out. Bushwhackers are 2.5" an are a little to big IMO.

my wheels stuck out about that much WITH factory flares. they dont do anything.
i also think bushwackers look completely gay on the 04-08 and only look good on the 09-11 because of the way the fender is

i couldnt be happier with them. i think they look a 100x better and they stop the tires from shooting mud up the sides like that....and did i mention theyre half the price of dickslapper-wackers
the rear tire is within the flare and the front tire only sticks out 1/4"

Thx schissler, I like those and that just might be the answer. The 2" leveling kit is coming off tomorrow and the 3" is going on. Can't wait to see how it appeals to me then and decide what to do from their.
