Default What is this for?

I recently changed out my turn signal stalk and I cant find the wire that goes to this clip on top of the steering column on my 2005 F150. Does anyone know what it goes to?
The second picture is from a still shot from an instructional video that I took a picture of while trying to find out if I am missing this wire. It doesn't seem to go towards the clock spring. The long story why I am curious about this is because immediately after replacing the signal stalk and putting everything back together, my a/c compressor clutch will not engage. I can't find any loose wire anywhere. I have gone over every single fuse and relay. Looked on every forum. Every video on youtube. Ran a diagnostic on it and the code B1352 came up. It says that it is a left front temperature damper motor. The blend doors work fine. The top reported repair is to replace the ignition switch or repair ignition switch wiring harness. Witch makes me think that it might have something to do with the missing wire in the red connector.

I think it connects to the clockspring.
