Default Wet floorboard

So I have a little issue that is pissing me off. My passenger floor board gets wet under my Weather tech floor mat, I assume from the ac. It doesnt drip on top of the mat just get under it. Thats not a big deal in its self however I do landscape on the side and I did a job the other day and I bagged everything up and I guess there were ants in the bags and they found there way into my cab over night. Well they have set up a colony under my mat because of the moisture. I took the mat out and put down aint killer and have not used my ac in weeks and I think they are all dead between the heat and ant spray. Is there anyting I can do to stop the moisture issue to keep this from coming up again? thanks

Default Moisture Under Passenger Floor Mat

What if it is coolant from leaky heater core?
I have heard animals, birds, and insects may like the sweet taste of anti-freeze.

I bypassed the heater core on my friends explorer because you have to take
the dash off to get to it!

Hope that is not your problem!

Another place to check is the third break light. The gasket keeping the water from getting in the truck can wear out. If it only happens when it rain or you notice right after then that something to check.

If that's not the case there are a few threads on here that explain the problems and ways to fix it. Search exactly what your title of this thread is and you should find the threads
