i have a 2004 fx4 and the driver side carpet gets wet when it rains, thought it was coming from sun roof but i cant see any leaks in headliner or from the windshield. the only spot that gets wet is right under my feet. any help would be much appreciated

Pop the hood...look for any out of place wires, o-rings, gaskets or any huge gaping holes in the firewall.

Crawl underneath and look for the same.

It has to be coming in from somewhere and if its getting that wet, its probably a large hole.

my dad has a 04 super crew and he had a hole that goes through the firewall. I think theres a plastic piece that fits in there to hide the hole but Im not sure(too dark to see right now). Anyways, he had this hole that was about 2" diameter and a mouse got in there and went to town on the interior.

I would think water would have a difficult time making it all the way from the 3rd brake light to the drivers side floor without showing its face elsewhere first.
