I have a 05 FX4, when turning left and onto an incline such as my driveway or into a parking lot I have a clunking noise. It sounds like it's coming from the rear but who knows. I have checked everything that I can think of, no broken springs that I can see and nothing seems loose. The thing is it does not do it every time only at 5 mph +. Any suggestions?

 

possibly a bed mounting bolt loose or maybe the tailgate latch is a little loose? sorry not much else i could think of....

 

Check all your sway bar stabilizer links. Hada Jeep Grand Cherokee do that.

 

Make sure your lug nuts are not loose..

 

I also agree with swar bar stabilizer links, I checked my driver side and that sucker was so loose I couldnt believe my eyes. Now my only question is how hard is it to replace it.
