After my truck starts in the morning and I try to accelerate away from my house, the engine sputters and jumps for like 3.2 seconds then it runs fine.

This is only after cold starts, and then it never happens through out the day.

3.2 seconds is a joke it is only for a really short time then goes away.

have u ever tired to let the truck "warm" up and see if you still have the problem???

 

just let it sit in your drive way for a minute or two. thats what i do and i also take it easy on it when its still cold.

 

i have let it sit a few minutes at first and it still does it. I am just using normal acceleration kinda gentle roll out, I leave early in the morning and I don't like to make a ton of noise for my neighbors. oh well maybe I'll change the plugs and injectors.

 

There is (or was) a TSB for this on the 2005's (I think) and the fix was to have the PCM reprogrammed by the dealer.

Could be the same type of issue? I'll see if I can dig up the TSB and post a link.

just chip i with those upgrades and it goes away...... its running lean bc u have opened it up with no extra fuel.. these engines run lean right off the lot. i have a knn/ 40 flos. and the egde evo. and what a world of difference.
