Default Weight Distributing Hitch Question

Hey guys, my enclosed motorcycle trailer is very nose heavy and squats my truck a lot. I customized the trailer and it's to hard to describe what I did w/o pictures but basically all my tools/spare parts/camping gear go right in the nose of the trailer. Its an enclosed V-nose Tandem axle 7'x14'. It hauls 3 KTMs, Gas, and all the other stuff mentioned above, and on my Thanksgiving trip, I also had the bed loaded with a Honda Foreman 450 quad gas and lottsa wood. Anyways long story short I got the nose light and steering was squirly.

So what I want to do is get a Weight distributing hitch to alleviate all this.
My questions are, how can I figure out the tongue weight of my trailer so I pick the correct spring bars?? and can someone tell me the pros/cons of Trunion or round bar? Have read some stuff on this but still not clear.

Some things about the truck if its helpful at all? My lift is a suspension lift w/ AALs, I have the 5.4, and a 3.73 LSD rear.

The trunion kits are a heavier duty design. They last longer (torsion wise) and dont hang nearly as low as the round bar kits. Tongue wieght is harder to determine without a proper scale (although there is a formula). I have installed hundreds of these kits on travel trailers and always preffered the trunion kits as they seem to flex less under stress and I've never seen one break (assuming correctly used). Its tuff to guess a proper kit without seeing the setup. Most people assume that getting the biggest kit they can will solve the problem, however the bars are designed to flex within a certain range. If the bars are overated for the trailer they wont give with the ride and beat the hell out of the trailer. If underated the opposite will happen and there will be too much flex and a wavy ride. The manufacturer could provide an aproximate tongue wieght but sounds like you have added your own touch. Are you still within the limits of the trailer?
