Default Water in transmission?

Let me first just get this out of the way...I'm an idiot, im well aware. Anyhow, I was doing some off roading in central Florida and seriously misjudged the depth of a puddle. Truck ended up going pretty well under water. The pipes stayed completely out and considering I've got a k&n intake that sits up pretty well I don't think that got in the water too much, but a lot of water in the cab. The only issue I've noticed now is that when I'm at a stop and then accelerating the truck feels like it has a hard time coming out of first gear. When it does it jolts a little and sometimes makes a little squeak. Other than that it drives fine but those low gears are giving me trouble. Any idea what it is/if I can fix it?

Yep, take it to have the tranny flushed asap...this should remove most, if not all, the the muddy water and replace it all with fresh fluid.

And before anyone says just drop the pan and drain it that way, that won't remove any water or dirt from the passages up in the tranny. Only a flush can do that. I had mine done at the stealership for $79...takes about an hour.

If you wait, it can cause some major damage, but get it flushed soon and you should be ok

Well, back again.
I flushed it twice, got the fluid the right color again. Checked the differentials and there wasn't any water in them. Changed the engine oil. Problem is the transmission still like, chirps, when im going from neutral to 1-2. It feels a tiny bit rough but the squeek is definitely noticeable. Ive been reading around and some people that have had their tranny chirp were talking about shift pressure being off cause of the bigger tires and im not sure if thats a possibility with mine. Im obviously inclined to think there is still something messed up due to the water, maybe something in the linkages? Thoughts?
