side exit exhaust will be the loudest to you - and the guy next to you

For the actual exhaust system:
Either Magnaflow or Flowmaster is gonna be good - that is if you're just looking for loud exhaust (that is, also if your gonna go with the Banks headers)

But - if you want the truck to perform the best you need to worry about the combination of header/intake/exhaust system that you put on...
Ask "what works best together?"

If you're going to go with the Banks headers you should go ahead and pick up the Monster Exhaust package (with Dual Exhaust, Headers, and RAM air system)...But if you want to do Flowmasters or Magnaflow out the back - you need to go with Edelbrock headers and maybe a K&N Cold Air / Ram air intake system

Check performance peddler for parts, using the code clubgp as a big discount.

For a really loud truck...
Cut out all four cats and replace with two Magnaflow 94106s.
Get two Dynomax bullets and use 2.5" pipe.
Get an H pipe made by your shop, this gives a deeper sound than a X.
Then two large tips, atleast 4" IMO.

As far as headers. Long tubes will be louder but are a bitch to put in and you will need custom tunes to run them properly.

What are you talking about? Just because he wants Banks headers doesn't mean the rest of the system needs to be Banks stuff. A flow through muffler is a flow through muffler. Banks, Borla, Magnflow etc. are all the same but with different tones. Each works the same.

I have a Magnaflow muffler, does that mean my AEM intake doesn't work now?

How do you know what works best together? Do you have the flow test and dyno results showing what flows best and what else you need to run with it?

-----------
To the OP. It doesn't matter what brand name you get. If it works it works. Piece together a good package with good performing parts and you are set regardless of who makes them.
