Default Vibration Issue Update - Fixed

A couple months ago I started getting a vibration when I was driving on the highway in overdrive, didn't notice it when I turned the over drive off, and only happened when I accelerated. I took it into the dealer thinking it was still covered under warranty because it's an 07 and under 60k miles. Well I was wrong, the truck went into service in 06 so the 5 years were up. Knowing my warranty was up, I still had them take a look at it. Their verdict was the torque converter was causing the transmission shudder, and also said that it could possibly by the valve body but they wouldn't be able to tell until they tore into the transmission. They gave me a quote of $1,850 and some odd change. I left the dealership and called a guy I know who has ran a transmission shop for 40 years to get his input. He sent me a $6 tube of Dr. Tranny's Instant Shudder Fixx to use. My first thought was no way this is going to work. Added it to my tranny fluid and from that day (about a week ago), I have not felt the shudder at all. I know a couple other guys were saying they were having the same issue so I just wanted to share my findings

I agree. He said he has used this stuff in multiple cars that people have brought in and never had any complaints. We'll see what happens

I have used something similiar before and it worked for me, I drove the car for around 30,000 miles before trading it in and it was still working just fine. The stuff I bought was from a tranny shop and it cost me around $12 for 8oz..

This was $6 and some change for 2 fl oz. I've been doing some research on the stuff and have found a lot of people have good things to say about the stuff
