Default vibration

Hello everyone, I have a 2007 f150 supercrew 4x4 with the 5.4 ltr, and I have been having a vibration issuse for the last couple of months. It doesn't happen all the time and goes away after about a minute. It doesn't effect the proformance of the truck. It feels like your driving over the rumble strips along the side of the highway.

any ideas anyone might have would be awesome

thanks Bill

I also have had this happen before w/ my 08 5.4 while driving down the road @ 60-65 and it will start to shake like hell for a few seconds, then goes away. Any thoughts would be helpfull here also.

a vibration like that is usually caused by either a misalignment somewhere in the suspension or driveshaft or rear differential or one of those things may have components that have become un-trued (if that is the word to use). A vibration like that could also be caused by your torque converter going bad (usually the fins inside the converter get bent or misshaped due to excessive heat).
