Thanks for the pics, exactly what I was looking for. What kind of clear coat did you use?

I used Dupli-color protective clear coat. As far as prep work I just scuffed up the chrome part with some sand paper. the black F150 part can get scratched easily so you have to be careful about not sanding that down as much. After that I just cleaned it up before spraying with the VHT. I know some people take the emblems off the truck too but i just left them on and taped around them. It was a pretty easy, quick job.
