Default Vent or Vacuum line?

So I was changing my friends brakes and I came across this line which appears to be a vacuum line or a vent line. As you can see there are two lines coming out of one sleeve. The other line seems like it works its way back to the 4x4 vacuum switch thing on the pass. fire wall. I could not figure out where this line went. Any ideas? Thanks

Hard to tell with the way you're holding it, but if that line is naturally bent like a shepherd's hook, then yes, it's the vent side of the 4x4 vac system. There's one on each side of the front end. When the 4x4 is engaged and the pressure is released from the IWE's, that's what allows it to escape.
