Default Vct soilenoid replacement

I am going to tackle the vct. What should I expect? Anything special I need to do? Also how long should it take. Thank you for your help.

The seals are a PITA to get out without tearing them up. That's why I just went and purchased new seals so when I tear them up I dont have to worry about trying to reuse them. Make sure you have a one piece 6" (or longer) T27 torx screw driver. Bought mine at sears for $5. Should take you 30 min to 1 hour depending on smooth it goes for you (both sides).

The advice he gave is perfect, read this thread for some helpful visuals.. 3 bolts on the power steering reservoir need to be removed, then just lay the reservoir to the side when working on the driver side...
