Have a F150 2004 Heritage 137,000 miles. I have a V6 4.2 in it. Would like to go to a V8. Can,t afford another truck with a V8. I pull a cargo trailer at about 2800 lbs. Such a strain on the V6.What about the tranny...do I need another one to? I have a 302 year model 1980 I think... will this work?
