i would recommend against 10000k HIDs, as the higher the k (kelvin rating), the lower the light output, not to mention that purplish/pink color looks a little odd. 4300k is ideal for light output (lumens). with that said, i highly suggest 6000k.

I have 10k and mine is blue and very bright, but will not look like a supernova and blind anyone. You do not get any purple color until you hit 12k unless you bought a garbage set.

Also, contact the sellers about putting the HID's into the halo sets, I have gotten responses from several vendors advising against it. No personal experience, but just letting you know to clarify.

I ended up getting aftermarket OEM stye black set to put mine in to help with the glare and to continue the black/blue theme I am going for. Gonna go check it out now since it's dark now.

While measuring the wheel well openings i found that it measures 6.5 inches in the back and 4" in the front from top of tire to fender well, Is it recommended to go with the 2 or 2.5 level kit, seeing that any weight in the back would make the back squat.

Depends on what look you are looking for. How often are you going to add several hundred pounds? If you are concerned, get the 2.5 and add a leaf...

My toolbox is the contractor series box its 28" wide and at times has held over 400lbs (checked with scale) with all the tools in it. i just dont want to hinder the look by having the back sag.
