Default Unknown cable unplugged, need help to identify

I was changing the oil on my 08 5.4L F150 today and noticed an odd unplugged red cable by the front of the transmission. It has three female holes in it to be plugged into somewhere, the only trouble is I cannot for the life of me find anywhere around the area to plug it into. When I bought the truck, the engine and transmission were both swapped, and I'm thinking it could have been unplugged this whole time. Anyone have any idea what this could be?
